In this 45 minute Ongoing class, students will explore calendar, phonics, math, fluency, and themed units at the Kindergarten level.
Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten
Due to several months of low enrollments, I have decided to pause this class and only offer the FLEX version. I will re-evuluate in the Fall:) Each ongoing lesson will include a power point with name/ handwriting, calendar, phonics, math, and themed unit activities for the Kindergarten level. It is recommended that students know letters and sounds and numbers 1-20 before taking this class. I will also give optional weekly assignments such as handwriting, art, fluency, or science activities....
I have 8 years of teaching experience at the Pre-K- First Grade levels in class and online.
Homework Offered
Students will be provided with a keyboard template to practice identifying letters and numbers. They are encouraged to find letters in their names, sight words, and math problems 1-3 times a week. It is also recommended that they practice rainbow writing or making flash cards for their sight words. Students will be given optional assignments to complete at home. They are welcome to post pictures or videos of their work in the classroom.Assessments Offered
