Beginner Level
We cover the difference between vector and raster images and when each is appropriate. We cover all basic tools as well as how to setup files from start to print so that students can create their own designs in the future. My classes are fun and engaging. I respond quickly to student queries with video responses that help them visualize what they're trying to figure out.

Exploring merge & blend tools for shape manipulation.
Transforming shapes: scaling, skewing, rotating, etc.
Creating a 200x200 icon or phone screen background using artboards.
Learning file sharing and collaboration through Adobe Cloud. 1 assignment

Modifying color and stroke properties.
Adding creative brushstrokes.

Students will need a 1 week trial of Adobe Illustrator. Please be sure to complete the lessons in 1 week if you are using a trial. If you opt to subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud, be sure to get student pricing for 19.99/mo. If you have a subscription, you can take up to 3 weeks to complete your course. You need a computer based version of Illustrator, the iPad app is not sufficient.
