Description
Class Experience
I worked as a Graphic Designer for over 10 years, creating brands, promotional leaflets, and much more. In addition to creating print and web still media, I worked on photography projects, video projects, and illustrations.
Students are expected to complete tasks in a dedicated sketchbook, and work on their Photoshop skills between sessions.
Students will need: Adobe Photoshop Sketchbook - A5 or A4 OPTIONAL - Two screens: one to run zoom, and one to run Photoshop. This will enable students to work along with me, and see what I am doing.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will have 2 main projects to complete, both of them working to a specific brief. This will allow them to experience what being a Graphic Designer is like.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
PLEASE NOTE: Photoshop Elements is not the correct software for this course, as it is basic photograph editing software, not design software. Adobe Photoshop is available as a bundle with Adobe Lightroom, for $9.99/month or $120 for the year. (Also available to UK students) www.adobe.com Students can also subscribe to the full Adobe Creative Suite for the same price, by providing evidence of schooling.
