Materials needed for Semester 1 are: -lined paper and pencil (all classes) -white board and dry erase marker (all classes) -handouts provided by teacher to be printed (all classes) -egg carton, dozen (Week 1) -construction paper (Week 2) -toilet paper roll (Week 2) -tape (Week 2) -small ball or marble (Week 2) -100 centimeter cubes, unit building bricks (Lego), or pennies (Weeks 5-7)
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Nearpod, Google Jamboard, and Classkick will be used to allow learners to collaborate and share work during class. If your child will be joining class from a tablet, please make sure to download these free apps to their device. Blooket and Gimkit games will be used to practice skills in a fun way with some friendly competition. Links for all these resources will be provided in the Zoom chat. Learners will click on them to enter the lessons. No log ins are needed.
