Class Experience

In this acting class, students will learn about script and character analysis and apply the techniques to their chosen scene. 

Class #1: Getting to know you, Acting Review, Script/Character Analysis, Choose a Scene
Class #2: Character Workshop/Scene Rehearsals
Class #3: Voice/Movement and Scene Rehearsals
Class #4: Dress Rehearsal/Performance 

Students will need to spend time outside of class and arrange a time with their partner to rehearse their scene. Extra assignments/homework will be assigned as well. We will utilize flipgrid for our homework assignments. 

This class is best suited for students who have acted before and have the motivation and discipline to do the outside work. For students new to acting, I suggest my Introduction to Improvisation, Private Lessons, or Comedy Club class. 

The class is hands-on. I will give students feedback throughout the class. Although this class is more serious, my teaching style is very supportive.
