Class Experience

Come travel back in time with me to the American prairie to make a festive and fun winter time craft. We will be turning those sweet smelling and tasting oranges into an decorative ornament. Not only do these orange clove balls have a lovely scent but they look beautiful and most of all are fun to make. You may chose to hang them on a tree as an ornament, near a woodstove or fireplace to dry them out or simply as a table top decoration. However you chose to use them, this is a simple and fun craft kids can make over and over again for years to come!

Learning Goals

My goal is to teach children that in a world full of tv and video games, old fashioned crafts and activities are still fun!
