Meet Jack and Annie and see where all the magical tree house adventures begin! In this one-time interactive class, students will hear a few passages read to them from the very first book of the series, “Dinosaurs Before Dark”, while they practice listening skills and for those who could read, Ms. Stephenie will allow them to take-turns reading aloud short paragraphs. It’s highly recommended that students have access to a physical copy of this book or can access it before and after class...
This class is taught in English.
Students will work on listening and power reading skills. They will review characterization, summarizing, sequencing, vocabulary, story elements, reading comprehension skills and more. Students will also develop a love for reading as they enjoy these awesome books!
Homework Offered
Learners are encouraged to review what was read in class to supplement their vocabulary lessons.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

A physical copy of the book is recommended, but not required. There are many online sources available, such as readings done by many people on YouTube.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
