As a follow up to the storytime class, this specific class will teach the Days of the Week and numbers 0-10 in more details so students will master both Mandarin and English.
Class experience
Research shows that learning another language can be extremely beneficial for young learners. Children exposed to a second language have enhanced concentration, improved memory, and better listening skills. Traditional/Simplified words will be introduced from the story. Students will hear a bilingual reading of a popular children’s book and specifically review the topics of numbers 0-10, the days of the week, and simple phrases in Mandarin. The one-time class will be taught in English and Mandarin, allowing students to understand and follow along.
Homework Offered
Optional homework will be provided to help students review the materials covered in class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

A colorful handout and homework (optional) packet will be provided.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
