Learning Goals
Phonetic Recognition:
Students can distinguish between the hard and soft sounds of the letters C and G by recognizing the vowel patterns that follow each letter (A, O, U for hard sounds; E, I, Y for soft sounds).
Word Identification and Sorting:
Students will accurately identify and sort words based on whether they contain a hard or soft C or G, both in isolation and within sentences.
