US Grade 2 - 8
This class is designed as a 1:1 session to give your learner the BEST and most unique support with their writing. For a learner who LOVES to write and wants individual and personalized attention and feedback to help their writing flourish, this session will help take their writing to the next level. For learner who struggles with writing, or feels nervous about attending a group class, this session will help them become more confident in their writing process with individualized attention...
- Students will improve their ability to get their ideas down on paper. Students will develop the ability to edit and craft their writing to make it the best it can be. Students will practice writing skills specific to their learning needs and writing goals. Students will gain confidence in their ideas and ability to bring them to life through their writing. Students will have fun writing!
I spent 4 years as a classroom teacher, teaching writing as well as other subjects. In addition to my degree in Elementary Education, I have taken special training in teaching writing with the Teacher As Writer course here in Portland, OR. I've also spent the last several years writing articles for my own personal blog, as well as doing freelance writing for small business. I believe writing is an incredibly powerful skill that can benefit and support growth, happiness, and success in all areas of life. It is such a joy teaching writing classes on Outschool and I am excited to now be offering 1:1 support and tutoring as well! :)
