Advanced Level
If you're between the ages of 12 and 18 and you are looking for advanced math help, this is your class. Students are REQUIRED to bring specific math questions to cover. It is essential that students UPLOAD or message me at the class to deliver 3-20 math questions they want to review during the session. Once I have been provided with the material, I will create a custom lesson for your learner. Each session will focus on understanding the problem, deciding the best approach to solve the problem, reviewing the solution and its procedures, and then assessing if the student has retained the methods learned. Examples of questions that students can bring for help might include: differentiating functions in calculus, quadratic equations in algebra, graphing linear functions, arithmetic and geometric sequences, use of graphing technology, applications to problems in contemporary physics and chemistry. Whether you are homeschooled or part of a bricks-and-mortar school community, bring your math challenges to the class and we will tackle them together! PLEASE NOTE: I cannot build a math course specific for your learner and I do require that learners SEND ME their own questions ahead of the sessions.

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from University of Winnipeg
With degrees in Math, Music and Education, I have been teaching students for over thirty years.
I teach classes that offer learners a chance to experience the creative side of math by putting theory into practice to design things like dragons, anime characters, castles and more. My classes are activity-based and encourage students to learn through hands-on projects that mimic real life math-in-action done by architects, engineers and designers.
