Our number one class - 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 has helped hundreds of students meet their reading goals. We have taken this class and designed it to provide your child a more individualized instruction to meet their specific needs. We provide additional practice after each class - Practice Makes Progress! We are also your learning partner and we value parent/teacher communication. Our program aligns with the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, ensuring students meet key learning milestones. The curriculum focuses on essential reading strategies and includes: -Identifying the main idea -Using context clues to understand unfamiliar words -Recognizing supporting details -Making inferences -Theme -Character Traits -Figurative Language -Comparing and Contrasting 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦? ✅The student will feel welcomed, encouraged, and valued. ✅The student will have multiple opportunities to participate in class through reading aloud, teacher-directed questions, and discussions. ✅The student will leave the class having been taught the objectives outlined in the class description. ✅The student will receive additional practice sheets corresponding to the class lesson. Range of Reading and Level of Text Complexity: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.4.10 By the end of the year, read and comprehend literature, including stories, dramas, and poetry, in the grades 4-5 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed at the high end of the range.
