Children not only need time to write, they also need explicit instruction to develop into confident writers. In this class: -Students will learn how to craft true stories with a beginning, middle, and end (even if they are mostly drawing). -They will learn to stay on topic and use detailed pictures to match their writing. I love teaching children how to write! I have a master's degree from the School of Education at Northwestern University and a certificate to teach English as a foreign language from Georgetown University. I was a teacher in international primary schools, and recently started my own after school literacy program called Whiz Kids International. I have been teaching children how to write for more than 15 years!
