夏季創意寫作俱樂部

In this weekly creative writing club, students will have the opportunity to create original stories , poetry and drama . Through support and individual feedback, the teacher will encourage students to use their imaginations to develop unique storylines, settings, conflicts and memorable characters .  This club will help students ignite their imaginations, develop communication skills and build their confidence through writing. Students will be given the opportunity to interact and share their writing with their peers if they wish. Students can continue writing existing projects or they can write a brand new piece each week. 

At the beginning of each class, the teacher will deliver a mini-lesson on one of the following skills to support student learning and development: 

- Theme Development 
-Figurative Language 
- Character Types and Development 
- Types of Conflict
- Plot Structure and Sequence 
- Poetic Devices and Structures
