創意寫作

Students will be provided a different creative writing prompt for each class. They will brainstorm and then respond in the form of a short story/essay response. Their responses will be given feedback including glows and grows. Students are encouraged to use their imagination and have fun with their writing. I foster a positive and supportive learning environment with an emphasis on growth mindset. Students will be fully interacting with the prompt, being given instruction only on specific areas of improvement when needed.

Some samples include:
"You're sitting in a cafe and when you get up to refill your cup you realize someone has left a note on your seat. What does it say? Who left it?"
"Describe the perfect world. What does it look like? What kind of people live there?"
"What's a unique word that you really love? What does it mean? Why do you like it so much?"
