👉 PLEASE NOTE--- this is a flexible schedule class, so there are NO scheduled live meetings. There will be pre-recorded videos and discussion boards based on the project assigned that week. Also, this course is ONLY for students who already took Beginning Music Production with Mini Musicians Studio and want to continue to expand their new awesome GarageBand skills! ✩ iPads or iPhones with GarageBand downloaded are ~ REQUIRED ~ for this course. 4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 112-Bar BluesWe will learn about the 12-Bar Blues and create our own piece using the chord progression while adding our own fun and creative twistWeek 2Lesson 2Classical RemixWe will create a piece inspired by a famous classical song, but remix it using modern instrumentsWeek 3Lesson 3Fantastical InternationalWe will use ancient Chinese instruments to record a custom melody, and add international loops to create our own international songWeek 4Lesson 4Pop SongWe will learn to create a modern-day pop song using song writing form, popular chord progressions, modern instruments, and a new drumming technique
