❓Has your child ever been interested in learning to play guitar but didn't know where to start? 
❓Have they tried following a book or watching YouTube videos but felt overwhelmed or didn’t know if they were playing correctly? 
❓Or maybe they have never once picked up a guitar but have always wanted to learn? 
❗️Well don't fret (hehe fret...), because we're here to help!

We have broken these lessons down into tiny, digestible bites for young learners that will get them playing right away so they feel successful and excited from the start, which will motivate them to continue to learn. 

Students at this age may find that full 3-4 finger chords to be difficult to master at first, so we focus our lessons on playing individual strings and teaching simplified 3-string chords to get students learning and playing songs in their first lesson. This way students will gain guitar skills at a basic level that they can continue to build on as they grow as a musician (and as their hands grow as well!) 😂

Students will...
♪  Watch a series of pre-recorded play-along videos by one of our instructors, Ms. G
♪  Practice + submit a video recording of exercises + songs for the week to their instructor via private message
♪  Receive positive feedback + comments from their instructor on their weekly video submission

🎸WEEK 2:
   ♪ Review play-along lesson

   ♪ Simplified 1-finger C major chord 
   ♪ Switching between C + G 
   ♪ C + G Song
          ♪ Skip To My Lou
   ♪ Strumming C + G

🎸WEEK 3:
   ♪ Review play-along lesson

   ♪ Switching between C, G, + Am
   ♪ Strum Patterns with C, G, + Am

🎸WEEK 4:
   ♪ Review play-along lesson

🎸WEEK 5:
   ♪ Song performances - students submit videos of them performing 2 TAB songs of their choosing, Skip To My Lou, and Shake It Off after receiving feedback from instructor 

⭐️ On the last week of class, students will post a video performance in the classroom page of their favorite songs from class to show off their progress and awesome new guitar skills! Students will post encouraging comments on each other's performance videos to celebrate ⭐️
