🚨PLEASE NOTE - this is a flexible schedule class, so there are NO scheduled live meetings. Each week, there will be pre-recorded video lessons for students to watch on their own time, as well as a corresponding workbook to complete as they wish. 


🎵 Join us for a fun + engaging flexible schedule course for beginning ukulele players ages 8-12! We'll learn 2 tablature or TAB songs, 3 ukulele chords, 6 chords songs, and more! Includes workbook, video lessons, & weekly 1:1 video feedback from Ms. G  🎵

Each week students will...
♪  Watch a series of pre-recorded play-along videos by one of our instructors, Ms. G
♪  Practice + submit a video recording(s) of exercises + songs for the week to Ms. G
♪  Receive personalized 1:1 video feedback from Ms. G based on their performance video(s)

 1️⃣ WEEK 1:

   ♪ Meet Ms. G (1 min)
   ♪ What We’ll Learn (1 min)
   ♪ How To Hold the Ukulele (2 min)
   ♪ Parts of the Ukulele (6 min)
   ♪ Tuning Your Ukulele (4 min)
   ♪ How to Read TAB (8 min)
   ♪ Twinkle Little Star TAB (9 min) 

= 31 minutes total

👉 Homework: Students submit video of them performing "Twinkle Little Star" TAB

2️⃣ WEEK 2: 
   ♪ Week 1 Review Lesson (3 min) 
   ♪ How to Read Chord Charts + C Major Chord (7 min) 
   ♪ Row Your Boat (4 min) 
   ♪ F Major Chord (5 min) 
   ♪ Switching Between F + C Major (5 min) 
   ♪ Wheels On the Bus (4 min) 

= 28 minutes total

👉 Homework: Students submit a video of them performing "Row Your Boat" + one of "Wheels On the Bus" 

3️⃣ WEEK 3
   ♪ Week 1 & 2 Review Play-Along Lesson (5 min)
   ♪ Mary Had A Little Lamb TAB (6 min)
   ♪ Are You Sleeping (3 min) 
   ♪ G7 Chord (4 min) 
   ♪ Switching Between C Major + G7 (4 min)
   ♪ Skip To My Lou (3 min) 

= 25 minutes total

👉 Homework: Students submit a video of them performing "Mary Had A Little Lamb TAB" + one of "Skip To My Lou"

4️⃣ WEEK 4:
   ♪ Weeks 1-3 Review Play-Along Lesson (5 min)
   ♪ Switching Between C, F, + G7 (5 min)
   ♪ She’ll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain (5 min)
   ♪ Lion Sleeps Tonight (6 min)

= 21 minutes total

👉 Homework: Students submit a video of them performing either "She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain" or "Lion Sleeps Tonight"

5️⃣ WEEK 5:
   ♪ Somewhere Over the Rainbow (7 min)
   ♪ Level 1 Jam Session (11 min)

= 18 minutes total

👉 Homework: Students complete "Score Sheet" for their Jam Session to reflect on progress, submit 2-3 videos of them performing their favorite songs from class
