Students must have access to a Digital audio workstation such as Logic(apple only), Garage Band (Apple's Free software), or Soundtrap (license required, Windows and Mac); The concepts covered can be used in all programs. - Students will understand how to use a Digital audio workstation to 1. Make beats. 2. Play and program instrumental parts. 3. Create chord progressions.4. Create Melodies. 5. Compose. 6. Arrange. 7. Mix. 8 Master recordings.
I have taught music production in public schools and colleges for twenty-three years. I have a master's degree and industry experience.
Students must have access to one of the following digital audio workstations: Soundtrap, Garage Band, Band Lab, Logic, Cubase, Pro tools, etc.
A Digital audio workstation software such as Logic (apple only), Garage Band (apple only), or Soundtrap (Web-based Windows, Mac application, IOS, and Android)

Students can use any digital audio workstation, such as Soundtrap, Garage Band, BandLab, Logic, and Pro Tools. There are free versions of Pro Tools, Soundtrap, and Bandlab. Garage Band is free with the purchase of an Apple computer.
