I will occasionally provide extra worksheets for students if I feel they need additional help. I will always provide answers for students to look over their work. Any homework is optional. I create it after class so that it covers what the students need help with.我們無法翻譯此文,請刷新頁面並再試一次。

Want your child to feel confident about math? In this course, we will focus on new topics in each class. The year will begin with fourth-grade material, then will switch to fifth-grade material. Each class, I will review the content, then students will do practice with me. After I see that students are comfortable, I will ask students to do the material independently. I do this process multiple times throughout the class. By doing this process, I make sure students have a basic understanding of the topic that they will build upon throughout the class. This helps build student confidence. I will ask students either to annotate on Zoom or hold up a whiteboard/paper. In addition, I will also use the chatbox. How do I provide support for students? In addition to scaffolding the material, the amount of time we spend on a topic is decided by the students. Throughout the lesson, I will ask students how they feel about a concept before we move on. This means the number of days we may spend on the material may change. I also encourage students to use the chatbox. The chatbox allows students to ask a question anonymously or ask me to repeat something. Feel free to reach out about your child. How do I determine what material to teach students? I look at grade level standards across the country, which tell teachers what students are supposed to know. I also look at districts throughout the nation's timelines of when they are teaching specific material. My goal is to have taught students as much of the material I can. What are your qualifications? I am a general education teacher and special education teacher. I have taught over 5,000 online classes to students.
