Whether you're looking to give your little one a head start in school, or your child needs extra support with reading and writing, this class is tailored to meet their needs! Using a research-based curriculum, we focus on developing essential literacy skills by decoding sounds and mastering sight words that don't follow regular spelling rules. 🥸 What Will Your Student Learn? In this course, students will engage with the SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) curriculum, designed to build strong foundational reading skills. Your child will learn to decode words, recognize sight words, and develop the confidence they need to become fluent readers and writers. The program is perfect for children entering Kindergarten or First Grade, second graders who are behind in reading, and English Language Learners. With just 25 minutes a day, your child will be on the path to literacy success. By the end of the course, students will be able to: Decode words using phonics Read and spell over 80 sight words Use short vowel sounds confidently Develop phonological awareness 🤓 What Topics Will You Cover? Throughout the course, your child will master: Sounding out letters and blending sounds together Reading and spelling sight words Constructing simple sentences Writing words and sentences independently How Is the Class Structured?
