Reading Workshop is an English Language Arts class that helps students become better readers who are better equipped to discuss and write about literature. I use high-interest literature to engage my students, reading strategies to help them understand and analyze what they are reading, hands-on activities, and 20+ years of teaching experience to help me make my classroom engaging, welcoming, and differentiated. I have taught reading and writing classes for 20+ years to a variety of different learners. My teaching style is encouraging, and I help make reading, something some students struggle to understand and enjoy, easier and fun.
