These are the questions we must answer every time we read a passage!

Sometimes it is easy to glance over words without fully comprehend their meaning, or without understanding what the author is trying to convey - but let’s get ready to change that!


In this 1:1 reading comprehension class, I will create a reading learning plan specifically designed for your student’s needs, and based on my 30 years as an educator and homeschool mom.

During our first meeting, I will take the time to assess your learner’s reading skills, which will give me the ability to develop the best reading plan for your child.

We will also play word games to check for reading understanding 

Lessons will include games read along and reading comprehension questions to check reading for understanding.

I can also recommend homework and assignments so that you are able to continue honing your skills between our sessions.
