Students will learn, practice, and play with creative writing. The aim of this class is to inspire writers to write, give them opportunities to share their writing, and offer tools to help them grow as writers. 

I received my Secondary English teaching license in 2004. Since then, I have taught in public schools, private schools, and online. I currently teach ELL, ELA, and creative writing to students ages 4-84. I also homeschool my daughter. My teaching style is encouraging and creative. I want my students to learn how they learn best, to feel supported, and for reading and writing to be enjoyable.

If students want to get the most out of this class, they will dedicate at least an hour a week to writing. They are welcome and encouraged to work on projects of their choice during our writing time. I will not be giving assignments, but rather suggestions.
