This 8 class "Beginning Reader Practice" course is structured to offer intentional phonemic practice for Beginning Readers. 📓 Weekly phonics based practice will help students to solidify your learners foundation as they successfully embark on their new reading journey! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Course is broken into 8 classes ( Two ) separate sections. Section 1️⃣ (4 classes) (Mixed vowel CVC words, 1-26 of the 52 Dolch Primer Words) Section 2️⃣ (4 classes) (Mixed vowel CVC words, 27-52 of the 52 Dolch Primer Words) 📌 (Section order does NOT matter) ------------------------------------------------------------------ Upon the purchase of each section you will receive a class seat in 4️⃣ live classes that follow a consistent and routine structure. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Each class starts with our Warm-Up where we listen, build, and discover words (with a focus on hearing, identifying, and manipulating sounds). Then we move into our Sound Alphabet which is followed by our CVC (consonant- vowel- consonant) Mystery Words. Upon building the Mystery Words we will review the classes Dolch Words (Primer List) that are covered in the specific section. (Dolch Primer Words: 52 high frequency words used in children's books) Lastly, following the review of the Dolch Words, we will move into reading our Simple Sentences which consist of a combination of CVC words and the Dolch sight words for that specific class. ------------------------------------------------------------------ In Addition... Each of the 4️⃣ live classes also comes with a ( 4 page ) Bundle 📚 that consists of... ------------------------------------------------------------------ 📕1 Mystery Words Sheet (This sheet is used during class.) 📗2 Dolch Sight Words practice sheets 📘1 Simple Sentence Sheet (sentences that we used in class) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I look forward to meeting your learner soon!
