猫：短い /a/ について学ぶ

This single class is designed for young emergent readers. The story is about cats snuggling in different places around the house, and has colorful and engaging photo illustrations.  All resources and activities are online, so students can clearly see the text and visuals. I adapt my teaching to meet the need of my learners, so each session is unique to that group. 

In this class students will…
• Sing a warm-up song to introduce the topic and vocabulary.
• Play a word-reading game with fun visuals and sound effects
• Read a short story focusing on the target phonics skill.
• Use the whiteboard to write words with the target sound

If your child has a small whiteboard, please have it ready (with a marker and eraser) for a spelling game. If you do not have a whiteboard, don't worry. We can play the game another way.
