Class Experience

This class is designed for advanced learner who have a strong understanding of American Sign Language (ASL). If you are not sure we can always do a 1:1 assessment.

Throughout this course, a relaxed yet engaging learning environment is fostered. In addition to traditional instruction methods, I incorporate games, music, and various other pedagogical tools to maximize student retention and engagement. To enhance the learning experience, it is recommended that students utilize a computer or tablet during class, as using a phone is not advisable unless necessary.

To facilitate communication proficiency, students will be encouraged to interact with one another via Zoom to enhance their understanding of ASL when conveyed through sign language. Break-out rooms will also provide opportunities for learners to get to know one another and collaborate on group activities.
