Beginner Level
During this ongoing course, we will be focusing on signs and how to create sentences and stories using these signs. While having prior knowledge of American Sign Language is very useful, it is by no means required. If you are looking for a conversational based class, I do have that as well, it is linked here as the next class. How the class will go: 00-05: Introductions and Learners joining 05-30: Review the alphabet and learning the new signs for the day (15-20 signs) 30-45: Using the signs to create sentences and stories 45-55: Play hangman, Kahoot!, or Wordle to practice signs and the alphabet. Weekly Topics: > Week of 12/4 - Animals > Week of 12/11 - Sports > Week of 12/18 - Famiy, People, Pronouns > Week of 12/25 - Weather If you are just now enrolling in the course, and you would like a copy of the alphabet, please send me a message and I can get that to you. These will repeat after some time, as this is mainly going over the basics of this language, and we will cover the basis of ASL throughout these classes. Learners will be able to stop and start subscription at any time throughout the class. There is no prior knowledge required. Looking forward to seeing your learner in class!
