3Rd - 4Th Grade Grammar, Reading, Writing~Full Year Enrichment ~Licensed Teacher

This class will be a wonderful combination of 3rd and 4th grade reading and grammar standards with tons of comprehension and writing/spelling practice.
We will begin each day with our grammar or writing skill and once a week we will play a game to help practice this skill. We will spend the rest of class learning and practicing a reading skill and reading various selections. We will learn how to answer questions by restating and finding our answer in the text. We will practice spelling of irregular words and  homophones. We will work on critical thinking skills and thinking about situations from different points of view.  I think this will be a fun way to practice reading and  grammar!  Students will learn through discussion, videos, games, partner work and hands on activities.
Student expectations:
I expect all students to be respectful to everyone in class, wait their turn to talk, pay attention, work hard and have fun! I love taking time to talk to everyone before class begins, I often give them time to share something they did that weekend, or do a short would you rather to help build relationships in the class. We will often work in partners and small groups - I expect all students to work with their partners in a kind, helpful and encouraging way.
We will meet in this class from late August- May
