One-To-One 1:1 Ongoing Grammar Class

In this grammar class, we will focus on a different aspect of English grammar each week. During each class, learners will familiarise themselves with the rules, and then begin to put it into practice through activities, worksheets, and games. Learners will use the grammar in both speaking and writing during each class. 

There will be a worksheet to accompany each class to help to reinforce the grammar. It will be helpful for learners to come to class with these printed out.

What will we learn?

Week 1 - Present simple of 'have got'
Week 2 - Demonstratives, possessive pronouns
Week 3 - Countable and uncountable nouns
Week 4 - Present simple with I, you, we and they
Week 5 - Present simple with he, she and it
Week 6 - Questions with what, who and prepositions of time
Week 7 - Imperatives
Week 8 - There is/are, some and any with plural nouns, prepositions of place
Week 9 - can for ability
Week 10 - Present continuous
Week 11 - object pronouns, like love hate +ing form
Week 12 - can for permission, must for necessity
