CLUB DE LECTURA DE LECTURA EN CLASE ~ Comprensión lectora, fluidez y vocabulario 6.º a 8.º grado
¡Únase a nosotros hoy!

Does your student love to read or would you like them to read more? Do they need reading fluency practice or assistance with reading comprehension? We know reading is critical to a student's success and this book club encourages reading as a part of our daily life. Use code LEARN9L4PX5 to save $5 today! However, this is not your ordinary book club! During each class, we will read the book round-robin style (think small reading group). This allows students to practice their reading fluency and allows me to assist students as needed. Students will also hear the teacher read while participating in the round-robin reading. Reading does not stop in the classroom, students will be assigned chapters to read at home. * Students do need a copy of the book or Kindle edition for this class. A reading book club is a great opportunity for students to strengthen their reading comprehension, discover a variety of literary genres, exposure to new vocabulary, increase critical thinking skills, infer information, make personal connections, practice reading fluency, learn how to discuss what they are reading and so much more. Students will be provided a "Building Vocabulary Through Reading Worksheet" and an Active Reading Worksheet to use during the reading of the book to help enhance their educational experience while reading. The books chosen for this class are mostly on a 6th-grade reading level. We do choose books we feel are appropriate for all students, however, we appreciate everyone has different thoughts and values. Therefore, I encourage you to please visit commonsense media or another outlet to make sure you feel the books are appropriate for your child. If your child is enrolled in the class, that is your acceptance of the book for your student to read. I am a big fan of the library and gently used books. However, I also realize we are busy and Amazon can be helpful so I provide the links to the books to be purchased through Amazon. These are affiliate links so I do earn a small commission to help me purchase more books if you use these links ***Students do need a copy to read. As an organization, we have a wonderful team of teachers. We are kind, encouraging, and patient teachers who love reading and sharing our passion for reading with students of all ages. We are here for your student so please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We communicate with our families periodically throughout class with feedback, suggestions, or general comments. Here are the books we will read - I have included Amazon links to make it easy for you to find the right book. If you use these links, I earn a small commission from Amazon that helps me buy more books to read with my students. :) However, you are in no way obligated to use these codes.
