Club de lectura: Raymie Nightingale de Kate Dicamillo

Raymie Nightingale by Kate DiCamillo is a touching and relatable story about friendship, hope, strength, and courage. This three-book series will quickly draw your child in and be one they won't want to put down. 

**There are two books that come after this one: "Louisiana's Way Home" and "Beverly, Right Here.

I will help learners dive a little deeper into our story during our sessions by leading them through discussions and activities related to the chapters read. Learners will also have the opportunity to share their responses from the assigned activity.

Learners will be asked to read about 10 chapters (don’t worry the chapters are short page-turners!) before each class and complete the assigned activity that will be posted in the classroom after our first meeting.

This book club is a great opportunity for your child to sharpen their reading comprehension skills, gain insight from others’ perspectives, and have a fun time reading an unforgettable story.

**Learners will need a copy of the book Raymie Nightingale by Kate DiCamillo.
**PDF file of journal discussion questions will be attached to the classroom after our first meeting. Please print or use a separate sheet of paper to write your answers down. We will share our answers with the group.

Reading Schedule: (Please do not read ahead of our schedule so that we can all enjoy the story together.)
Prior to our first meeting read chapters 1-10.
Prior to our second meeting read chapters 11-20 and answer journal question #1. 
Prior to our third meeting read chapters 21-30 and answer journal question #2.
Prior to our fourth meeting read chapters 31-40 and answer journal question #3.
Prior to our fifth meeting read chapters 41-51 and answer journal question #4.
