Math Simplified! 1:1 Private Math Tutoring for Elementary Grades 1-5

This private tutoring session will be individualized to fit your student's needs regarding math instruction.

I can provide remediation/intervention for math skills, homework help, or enrichment for students who are needing an extra challenge.

🔎This session is designed as a TRIAL SESSION, to see if you like my teaching style and you feel like I am a good fit for your student.

If after your trial session, you would like to continue working with me, I also offer ongoing private tutoring.  Please contact me for information about how to register for more sessions!

**Important:  You will receive my TUTORING SURVEY after you register for a private session.  Please complete the survey at least 48 hours before our scheduled session so I am able to prepare my lesson.**

Within the survey you will have the opportunity to provide Mrs. Rodebush with the following information:

✅current grade level and school information
✅math goals, struggles, or need for enrichment
✅skill(s) you would like our initial session to be focused around
✅information about how your child perceives math and learning styles

If your student has math homework assignments that you would like for me to help with, you may send those to me as well.  Otherwise, I will design a lesson to suit the needs that you express to me inside the survey.

Additionally, if you are unsure which math topic(s) your student is struggling with, I will provide access to a screener assessment to have your student complete prior to our meeting so I can truly individualize his or her needs.

I can also provide enrichment for students who are needing an extra challenge.

Our 45 minute session will include:

⏰5-10 minutes: Closing Assessment & Next Steps

My goal is to help students MAKE SENSE of what they are learning, and not just memorize content.  I believe very strongly in focusing on the "WHY" and "HOW". 

I will work hard to ensure that your student grasps each math concept in a way that helps them to grow into lifelong math learners.
