Kingdom Counters: Count Like a King, Solve Like a Queen!

In this fun and inclusive math class for Pre-K to 1st-grade students, young learners will explore basic math concepts in a warm and supportive environment. We welcome all students, including those with unique learning needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  

🧮 What Will Be Taught? 
Students will build a strong foundation in:  
- Number Recognition & Counting: 1-100  
- Basic Addition & Subtraction: Using visuals and manipulatives  
- Shapes & Patterns: Identifying and creating patterns  
- Measurement & Comparison: Length, weight, and size concepts  
- Sorting & Classifying: Grouping objects by attributes  
- Early Problem Solving: Simple word problems and logic puzzles  

📚 Class Structure & Topics Covered  
Each class will follow the following structure:  
1. Welcome & Warm-Up: Quick icebreaker or movement activity to get students engaged.  
2. Mini Lesson: Introduction to the day’s topic using slides, visuals, and stories.  
3. Hands-On Practice: Games, activities, and manipulatives to reinforce learning.  
4. Guided Practice: We’ll work through problems together, modeling strategies and providing support using digital worksheets and learning programs such as Classkick and IXL.  
5. Interactive Games: Fun, educational games to practice skills (e.g., scavenger hunts, counting challenges).  
6. Review & Wrap-Up: Recap of the lesson, sharing successes, and assign homework.  

🎲 Teaching Style & Methods
My teaching style is interactive, encouraging, and adaptable. I use:  
- Visuals & Slides: To break down complex concepts into simple, digestible steps.  
- Hands-On Activities: With counting blocks, shapes, and sensory tools to engage different learning styles (including digital manipulatives such as toy theater).  
- Movement & Games: To support learners who thrive with physical activity and to maintain focus.  
- Multi-Sensory Approach: Incorporating visuals, sounds, touch, and movement to make learning accessible to all students.  
- Flexible Pacing: Lessons can be adapted based on student needs, allowing extra time when needed.  

💬 Learner Interaction 
Students will have many opportunities to interact with me and their peers through:  
- Live Discussions: Students can ask questions and they will be asked to explain strategies in their own words.  
- Collaborative Games: Games will be completed synchronously during the 1:1 session.  
- Direct Support: I will provide real-time feedback and encouragement.  
- Graded Assignments: Digital (via Classkick) and printable worksheets and at-home practice ideas will be provided and graded for continued learning.  
- Progress Monitoring: Student progress will be monitored through observation, teacher-charted data, and IXL.
