Class Experience
Knowing "the how" and "the way" meditation works provides your child the science of the brain & how to apply the science as pivotal tool and resource to create change & positive direction. These new teachings can inspire our actions to be a source of health & wellness not just for ourselves but our family and communities. Students will learn that change/flexibility of the mind is possible through thoughtful mindfulness to support good behavioral choices.
Your teacher, Amy is a Certified Yoga Therapist approved by the International Association of Yoga Therapist, Director of the ENLIVENhere Yoga School and is an approved Continuing Educator through Yoga Alliance.
The students will be asked to practice a focus breath meditation 3 - 5 minutes the days between between classes.
Each student should use a yoga mat or a non-slippery rug or blanket to perform yoga steps. The room should have some space to freely move around and stretch.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
