How Outschool Works
Don't see a time that works for you?
This is a class for Grade 2 and 3 learners who wants to practice their writing skills and improve their written work while having fun. Writing is not just about putting words on paper - it's about putting the right words on the paper - so this class will examine writing at word level, sentence level, and paragraph level, as well as exploring many other aspects of creative writing. Each class will use a mix of independent practice, collaborative creations, games, and individual writing time....
The goal of this class is to have fun, to get learners engaged with all the facets of writing, and to make them more aware of their own writing process. They will be able to identify their own weaknesses and strengths and learn to use that knowledge to develop their writing skills.
Worksheets will be given after each lesson, with review and supplementary exercises.
Students need to come prepared to write. They will need a pencil and eraser, and some paper. Worksheets will also be used in some lessons and, when needed, will be posted in the classroom 24-hours before class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
