In this ongoing class, students will practice their cursive writing skills, get in the habit of self-correcting, maintain the habit of self-correcting, as well we put their creative ideas onto paper.  

What will be taught?
-Cursive techniques 
-Creative writing techniques
-Basic grammar and spelling
-Literary devices

What topics will you cover?
-Topics will be largely student-driven
-I provide several creative writing prompts and students have the liberty to write about what they're most passionate about or the creative challenges they want to overcome

How is your class structured?
-At the beginning of every class, I will point out errors from the homework so that they can avoid making the same mistakes during the class period
-Afterwards, we will either work on create student-based creative writing projects, reflect on past projects, or set goals for the upcoming creative writing assignment
-At the end of class, we will go over the homework and the student will have the chance to ask for any necessary clarification

How will you teach? What's your teaching style?
-The majority of our interaction will be during live classes, and my teaching style is generally quite fun, outside the box, and interactive
-I highly emphasize student initiative, self-empowerment, and circular learning in a way that boosts confidence, encourages self-discipline, and encourages setting one's own standard for oneself. 

How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)?
-Most of our contact will be during the live classes, but I also respond to student questions posted in the classroom within a reasonable time frame
-When a homework assignment is very long, I may ask the student to post a photo of their writing in the classroom, or a chat on Outschool so that I can correct it

Any required experience or knowledge learners need?
-I strongly recommend a solid background in cursive writing before enrolling in this class

I've taught my own original curriculum at a high-end private training school for six years, and now I'm working independently to offer my courses online! I have an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and am TESOL Certified. 

I value students learning by having fun and connecting to stories both academically and through life experience. I'm also a lover of debates! I believe in encouraging students to hone their existing strengths and interests to thrive in an academic environment. 

I've taught everything from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to 1984, but my ultimate favorite to teach is anything Harry Potter! Critical thinking is also another one of my favorite things to teach.
