Word UP! Microsoft Word (for Beginners)

What will be taught in this class?:
In this class, we will learn the basic functions of Microsoft Word. We will discuss each of the items on the menu bar week by week. Each time we meet, we will discuss a menu item.


Class structure:
1.  Class welcome!  We will check in and talk about how everyone is doing and exciting things going on in everyones' worlds

2.  We will have a 15-20 minute learning session

3.  A class project will be completed.  Everyone will be a part of creating the project and have input.

4.  Students will have independent time to work on their individual projects / assignments.  I will be online to help guide them through any questions or concerns they may have while working.



Teaching Style:
I love an enthusiastic classroom that is inclusive of all students participating.  I love to joke and have fun with my students. Students that are genuinely smiling and having fun are learning and retaining!


Interactions:
Learners will have a blast interacting with each other as well as myself.  I am known to use videos, projects, games, and slides in class to help with my visual and kinesthetic learners.
