This four-lesson face to face class introduces learners to: the use of PowerPoint to make a meaningful presentation that engages the audience. This class includes teacher prepared videos, worksheets, quizzes and multiple projects. This is the PowerPoint portion of the technology applications class that I taught for 20 years. I wrote the curriculum based on skill requirements set by the state of Texas. Week 1 Screen, presentation format, pictures, online pictures, 7x7 rule, header/footer, design ideas, slide size, printing, formatting background, intended audience, slide layout Week 2 Animations, transitions, audio, arrange objects, reuse slides, notes Week 3 Insert charts, video, tables, record slide show, hyperlinks Week 4 3d models, photo album, set timing, record slideshow Needed for this class: Prerequisite: None Computer with video, sound and document saving capability, newer version of Microsoft PowerPoint(2019 or Office 365).
Learning Goals
The learner will gain a working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint program so they can use it to perform necessary tasks.
