Class experience
This is a hands-on class, meaning the instructor will present the materials and guide the students to perform the coursework. Therefore, students need to have Microsoft Excel installed on their computer before class starts. In this class, we will cover some basics and some intermediate features of using Microsoft Excel. Students will gain an understanding of how to use Microsoft Excel to create and work with worksheets. They will learn the different features Microsoft Excel offers.
I am a professional educator and have been teaching and working with Microsoft Excel for a long time now. I know how important it is to keep abreast of the new features Microsoft Excel offers. Therefore, I want to teach learners the knowledge I gain from my experience.
Homework Offered
Students will have an activity or exercise to complete after the instructor presented the session materials. The activity or exercise may be completed during the class session, if time permits. Otherwise, it will be completed after each class. They will be asked to create a Microsoft Excel worksheet and apply some of the different features taught in class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed based on the completion of the Microsoft Excel document they create and complete after each session.Grades Offered
Microsoft Excel -- software must be installed on the student's computer before the first day of class.
