In this 4 week class, students will learn dozens of practical skills in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets to help them be successful in all levels of school and/or an entry level job.

Class Experience

4 lessons//4 Weeks
 Week 1
Lesson 1
Tabs and Setups
Students will understand the tabs, purposes, and functions of Docs, Slides, and Sheets, and set up their initial documents, slides, and spreadsheets.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Foundation Formation
Students will create the basics of a brochure in Docs, design the introduction and main content in Slides, and master schedule creation in Sheets.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Standout Styles
Students will enhance their brochure with colors, images, and a sharp layout in Docs, add animations, transitions, and a conclusion to Slides, and create tables and graphs for science or math class in Sheets.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Presentation and Organization
Students will present their brochure in Docs, their slideshow in Slides, and organize their graphs in Sheets.
This class is taught in English.

I currently am the Chief Microsoft Instructor for an EdTech company based in the United States. 
I currently am a credentialed teacher in Washington State and hold my endorsements in biology (5-12), health (K-12) and fitness (K-12). 
I currently teach AP Biology, honors biology, anatomy and physiology and health science. 
I hold my Masters Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in life sciences and health.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.

Throughout my education and career over the last 10 years, I have used and implemented Google programs with thousands of students.

Details: Students will be assigned short homework assignments to practice skills learned in class. It will be completed individually and take no more than 1 hour per week.
Students will need access to their own or a parent's Google Account to open Docs, Slides, and Sheets. 
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides with their own or a parents Gmail account.
