Students will learn all about wolves through interactive materials that are guided by the instructor. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At completion, students will have comprehensive knowledge about wolves and will be able to express the need and ability to help conserve this amazing creature. Students will learn all about wolves including the anatomy, feeding, behaviour, habitat and wolf family life both in the wild and also in wolf, wolf-dog refuges and zoos. Conservation is stressed throughout the course.
I've worked with animals all of my life and currently house over 32 animals on my property. I have lived with wolves on my rural property in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and currently am caring for a wolf-dog.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
