Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Students will learn all about wolves through interactive materials that are guided by the instructor.

Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher.

At completion, students will have comprehensive knowledge about wolves and will be able to express the need and ability to help conserve this amazing creature.

At the end of our class students will learn to draw a wolf step-by-step!

During some instruction days, students will be able to see a wolf-dog or wolf-dog pack live with the instructor. This is not guaranteed, however, as the wolf-dog(s) are being rehabilitated and adjusting to a new environment and we must respect them. Wolf Dogs will not be available to view after June 22 until further notice.

Included with the class are three hand-outs:

 - National Geographic Wolf Family Activity Guide
- Ten Amazing Wolf Facts & Coloring Sheet
- Animal Prints Guide

At the end of class all students will form a wolf pack and a roleplaying adventure begins! Students take what they learned in class and together, as a pack, they try to survive through fall and winter!

The first student in class becomes the Pack Leader, so get in early!

Wolf Fact: One wolf can eat the equivalent of 60 Big Macs in a single meal!

Please note: The allotted time for this class has been extended to 55 minutes. However, because of the nature of this class, the number of students, participation and the live-wolf cam experience (determined by nature!) the class may be shorter than usual. We will not go above 55 minutes.
Learning Goals
Students will learn all about wolves including the anatomy, feeding, behaviour, habitat and wolf family life both in the wild and also in wolf, wolf-dog refuges and zoos. Conservation is stressed throughout the course.
