US Grade 4 - 7
This course is unique. Students will spend one day with the teacher. This one day will be broken into three 30-minute sessions. This course is for students who dream of vet school or animal-related careers including: doctors, specialists, veterinary technicians, assistants, groomers (I do not teach learners how to groom), reception, management, etc. I have two decades of experience in the veterinary field and 10 of those years in animal education. I ask you to carefully consider the course syllabus listed day by day below. 🔴 What This Class is Not 🔴 ◼ memorization of body parts, vitals, or facts ◼ a class where students ask questions about their own pet's health ◼ Per OS Rules and US Federal Law, I will always recommend seeing your own vet. ◼ a class where questions are discouraged 🟢 What This Class Is 🟢 ◼ a safe space for students with no prior knowledge ◼ a group of like-minded individuals where sharing is encouraged ◼ a holistic journey through the vet field ◼ a platform where critical thinking and continued curiosity is encouraged ◼ an opportunity for your child to hypothesize, synthesize, and theorize information To be clear, 3 meetings on the same day with short breaks in between meetings. I provide visuals and various professional video demonstrations of practical skills. I try to meet students where they are and cater to interests presented in each group. This is an introduction to veterinary medicine but I'm proud to say I've never had a student complain it was a waste of their time or energy.
