This course is the first of its kind on the Outschool platform. It is the most in-depth look at horse anatomy and physiology currently on Outschool. Although it is created for students of all horse-knowledge levels, it will be too advanced for some. I will be teaching the names of actual muscles, bones, nerves, tendons, veins, and other body parts. I am an Animal Scientist after graduating NC State in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Vet Animal Science with a minor in Agriculture Business Management, Equine Performance Anatomy and Exercise Physiology, and concentrations in Emergency Work, Biology, and Physiology. I worked in veterinary medicine at NC State University and began my vet work in 2004. I studied the Equine Industry throughout Europe and Ireland and conducted a long-term research equine project at North Carolina State University. I am prepared for this course.

- For the purpose of this course, we will be skipping the reproductive pages of the course book. I will show real images throughout the course as well of real animal anatomy: bones, organs, blood, and tissue. - Please observe your child with pointed objects such as sharpened pencils as necessary.
