I have been a certified veterinarytechnician for more than 30 years, have a MEd from Colorado State University and and I am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I have been teaching at local colleges in veterinary Assistant Programs and an equine studies program, as well a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint Horse, 4 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 2 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with others!

Weekly follow up YouTube video links will be provided for additional optional learning. Worksheets will be provided as described in the description for in class work and additional learning and practice.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Any print outs will be posted for each class, where they are needed, the week before they will be used. CLASS 2: A pet food label will be used. Teacher will provide an example, or the learner may bring their own cat/dog food label. Additional YouTube video links will be safely embedded into the classroom for optional viewing.
