This is an Individualized Private Tutoring session here to support your child in Reading, Grammar, Writing, and Study Skills.

In this class, the lesson will be individualized according to what the student needs. The materials used will be what works best for the child's learning. I will work with what you bring to the session and tailor your needs. I work with Google and its products. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 5x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of the six traits of writing: ideas, organization, voice, and sentence fluency, using many different ways to explore.
I am a certified elementary and middle school teacher with Reading and ESL endorsements. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Curriculum. I earned a second Bachelor of Science in Human Services. I have expertise in teaching young individuals reading and GED preparation. I've been a teacher for almost 20 years, and I have a passion for writing. I want to help you grow more confident in your writing by teaching you unique ways to express yourself. During the pandemic, I learned how to teach online. I enjoy it and would like to communicate my enthusiasm, professionalism, and readiness to teach this essential topic to your child.

I will ask for a rubric or anything the teacher may have asked for the assignment to make sure my support is of value. I will teach skills according to the need of the student. I will incorporate Nearpod, Spelling city, and Canva as needed. I also use Nearpod only for follow-up if needed.
We will watch videos or use some websites to enhance the lesson's learning. All under what is expected for school-age use.
