Course Components: Lesson 1: Money Matters: An Introduction to the Importance of Financial Literacy Lesson 2: Spending Wisely: Strategies for managing and budgeting your money. Lesson 3: Money Goals: Setting Financial Goals and Planning for the Future Lesson 4: Selecting and Understanding Different Types of Financial Products and Services Lesson 5: Keeping Up With Your Score: Monitoring and Improving Your Credit Score Lesson 6: Credit Sense: Responsible Use of Credit and Management of Debt Lesson 7: Privacy: Protecting your financial information and identity. Lesson 8: Debt Danger: Recognizing and Avoiding Common Debt Traps Lesson 9: Saving and Investing: Strategies for Building Wealth and Financial Security Lesson 10: Plan For The Future: Retirement Planning and Long-Term Financial Goals Lesson 11: Home, Make It Happen: Exploring homeownership and real estate. Lesson 12: Exploring Home: Understanding the Home-Buying Process and Mortgage Options Course Format: Weekly live sessions are conducted through Google Meet or Google Classroom Each session will utilize various teaching tools, such as Google Docs and the Google Jam Board. Active participation and discussion are encouraged to enhance learning. Weekly reflections on the previous week's content. The instructor's teaching style is adaptable to the group's energy and needs. Quizzes at the end of each week to assess understanding.
