Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to use patterns to create visual interest in their paintings.
I have taught in brick-and-mortar schools for 30 years. During this time, I have taught all academic areas as well as art and STEAM classes for grades K-5. I have taught virtually for one year.
No homework will be assigned. Students who do not finish their paintings may want to finish the painting outside of class.
Canvas Pencil Eraser Paints- colors of the student's choice preferably- (acrylic paint pens work well for this activity as well) Cup of water Paper towel Pallett Paintbrushes Creativity Smile
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed informally throughout the lesson. At the end of the lesson, the students will be encouraged to share their paintings with the class.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be determining some of the topics of conversation that we have during the course of this class.
No outside sources will be utilized.
