Class Experience

While using a baby to play on the piano is not exactly how one will play the piano, there are so many other wacky ways throughout music history on how one can play the piano!

Be prepared to have fun and be in awe! The days of you thinking that you can only play the piano with your hands is VERY back in the days. We will introduce several piano pieces that are not played in the traditional way. Expect the giggles and the "no way" sounds as your child stays fully captivated for 40 minutes!

Learning Goals

Teacher expertise and credentials
Few people really know what they want to be when they grow up, but I was determined to become a piano teacher by the time I was ten years old. I was that child that despised all musical training at first and told my parents countless times on my intention to quit playing the piano. To this day, I am thankful that my parents never gave in! It is now my passion and what gets me up each morning.

After graduating with my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music, I immediately went into piano teaching and formed my own teaching studio. My studio grew and I now have piano teaching studios in three states (New York, Connecticut, and California). Our students regularly perform, participates in piano exams, and enter in piano competitions.

Upon finding Outschool for my own children, I was immediately drawn to how creative this platform is. I decided to not only sign my children up for classes on this site, but to also share my knowledge as well. There are so many online teaching tools now that the classes are very interactive, engaging, and informative at the same time. Can't wait to meet everyone!
