Intermediate Piano for learners ages 9-14 to learn how to play by ear! Meets once per week. Piano or keyboard required. Piano experience recommended but not mandatory. In this course, we will talk about the Suzuki Method of Piano continuing with Book 2 of the Suzuki Method.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the different notes of the keyboard and how they sound. Focus will be being able to recall any given note solely by pitch recognition.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Dr. Lai is one of the few experts who teaches the Suzuki Method of Piano in North America. He was classically trained at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio, however later discovered that the Suzuki method produces better results in a much shorter amount of time. He believes that learning music should be enjoyable versus tedious.
